Well, went out to see 2012 yesterday, and I figured I might as well gave you my thoughts.

Personally, I thought htis was actually a really good movie. GREAT special effects, and a very good plot to boost it up. Honestly, throughout this movie, I had three main concerns about this movie-

1.) It's long. Two and a half hours to be exact. I was afraid the movie was bascially gonna lose me around the middle.

2.) I was afraid the apocalypse would end somewere in the middle, and we would all get just talking for about a hour and fifteen minutes.

3.) I was afraid this was going to be a movie that was all special effects and no plot.

Here is what I found out throughout the movie-

1.) While long, this movie definitly does NOT lose you. Hell, it keeps you wanting to keep your eyes wide open until the end. I was tired when I saw this movie and I stayed the whole time (Except one bathroom trip_

2.) The mayham caused by 2012 in the movie keeps going on until the very end. No need to worry two hours of talking and no action.

3.) It has not only really great special effects, but a really great plot to boost. I won't spoil it for you.

For me, the most powerful scene of the movie was during a eathquake, in the Sistine Chapel, the Creation of Adam also gets destroyed (like the rest of the Chapel). However, before it does, the ceiling cracks, with the crack going in right between Adam's and God's fingers.

In all: It's actually a really good movie that I really recomend. However, if you have other plans the day your going to see it, make sure your timing this right- remember, this is two and a half hours people- if you don't see this early, it could easily conflict with other plans you got that day.
